Name: Daniela

Age: 15

I’m from: Costa Rica

A little about me:

Well, I love Nirvana, I’m an internet addict (I think) and I always go all Nanana Turuduruturururutudurututudu…

What brought me to the moon:

Well, Dan is awesome, and the Moon is awesome, and the pogotribe is awesome, so why not? xD

My first impressions of the moon:

First I thought they’d punch me for being a noob, but then I loved the place… =D

4 word sentance: I am a zombie

Add this question: If you met Sara Palin, what would you do?

Rob (Real)

[avatar]

Name: Rob

Age: 22

I’m from: Pennsylvania

A little about me:

I’m just an attention-seeking, cynical, skeptical, corny, bulbous dude who can’t decide if what I’m doing matters and if what matters is worth doing.

What brought me to the moon:

Actually, I joined the moon after Dan’s Open Letter to Educators because I similarly dropped out of graduate school around the same time. I was looking for people who were talking about it on a forum and I finally joined. This is actually quite humorous considering how drastically my reasoning for being on SPOTM has changed.

My first impressions of the moon:

It’s a totally awesome and welcoming community full of great people.

4 word sentence: When in doubt, doubt!

My social media:

Varygoode (Youtube)

Freddy (frcepeda)

[avatar]

Name: Freddy

Age: 14

I’m from: Mexico

A little bit about me:

I’m just your average nerdy teenager that strives to introduce new media in my community because even if we have internet access, my friends don’t ever get outside facebook or watching RWJ videos.

What brought me to the moon:

I have been a regular Dan Brown follower for a long time now, and when he created this forum, I quickly signed up.

My first impression of the moon:

When I joined, I thought it was a really awesome place with people committed to change the world, but as people started leaving it, I realized that the moon isn’t only that, but a community that wants to grow strong, whichever the circumstances are. Although we haven’t changed the world yet, I feel we’re going in the right direction.

I like it. 🙂

4 word sentance: Why should I? Huh?

If you met Sarah Palin, what would you say?

OMIGOSH IT’S SARA PALIN!!!!

BAI. And I’d slam the door in her face. 😛

Which sections of the forums do you visit most and why?

The anything and everything section, because it’s the most active one.

Add this question: What did you think of this form?

My social media:

Youtube (frcepeda)

Facebook (frcepeda)

Flickr (frcepeda)

You get the idea 😛

If you don’t find me there as that, you can try with frcepeda45. That should work. 🙂

Cameron (Gameboob)

[avatar]

Name: Cameron

Age: 18

I’m from: Vancouver, BC, Canada

A little about me:

I’m young and concerned with significant world issues. I hope to have a positive influence in solving them.

What brought me to the moon:

To talk with people that have similar interests.

My first impressions of the moon:

I can’t even remember.

The sections of the forum I visit most:

Debate Club, A&E, YouTube and the Internets, and the Projects section. They have the most activity.

4 word sentence: This is not creative.

What I would say to Sarah Palin:

Make me a sammich, woman!

Add this question: Have you ever participated in a project? If yes, would you participate again?

Brandon Rogers (Rogers91)

[avatar]

Name: Brandon Rogers

Age: 19

I am from: VA, USA

A little bit about me:

I am a dude who works at a store and really hates every thing about his job. I go to college and have no idea what I want to do with my self. A dream of mine has been to go into politics. I love Star trek and Doctor Who and Stargate and just about any other science fiction. Uhh yeah I dont know is there anything else… probably..

What brought me to the moon:

Dan Brown told me to go to the moon and as a zombie I decided to visit. Then I was traped and uhh yeah. They wont let me leave. Please help or at the least send food…

My first impressions of the moon:

Awesome, amazing, and briliant. All around it is one of the best places to go when I am bored.

The sections I visit the most:

The RPG sub forum of the Games section and the Debate Club to yell at Rialvestro. I am the game master of the wall revenge in the rpg section.

4 word sentence: I love Star Trek

If I met Sarah Palin, I would say: ohh hey you know you look just like my mom but old…

Add this question: Do you always come to a complete stop at stop signs?

My social media:

Ferre (Ferrrrrre)

Name: Ferre

Age: 15

I am from: Belgium

A little bit about me:

What brought me to the moon:

Dan EFFING brown did. I was just like most of us a regular DB subscriber and when he announced he had made an EPIC forum and explained everything in his ‘Tribe’ video, I thought I’d check it out and for some strange reason I never left (BTW this happened in December 2009 🙂 )

My first impressions of the moon:

I was thinking: ‘AWESOMESAUCE’ after reading some of the threads and introduced myself in the ‘introduction’ thread (o yesh..back in the day it was only 1 thread where one introduced oneself ) [link:http://www.southpoleofthemoon.com/viewtopic.php?p=7971#p7971%5D

Sections of the the forum I visit most:

Forum Games – ENTERTAINMENT 😀

Anything & Everything – random threads R random

Introduccíons – #WelcomeCookies duh..

Projects and Halp PLS – checking whether I can help

Most of the time, I just check the ‘Last Post’ thingy and sometimes I continue visiting all the sections 🙂

4 word sentence: Wanna have a #cookie?

If I met Sarah Palin, I would say: ‘Who are you again?’

Add a question to the list: Pirates or Ninjas?

My social media:

@Ferre_ (Twitter)

Ferrrrrre (Youtube)

Nick (iamnthomas)

Name: Nick

Age: 21

I am from: East Lansing, Michigan

A little bit about me:

I am a 21 year old college student. I am studying Geography and Interdisciplinary Social Sciences. I have over 110 GBs of music in my iTunes library which means if you started playing all the music today – it would finally be finished playing each song 2 months later. Music helps me get through those long study sessions and just gives me something to do when I’m bored. Sports are a big deal to me. I am an avid Michigan State University SPARTANS basketball and football fan. (Please don’t get MSU confused with University of Michigan) If you want to talk sports get at me!

What brought me to the moon:

I’ve been watch Dan Brown’s videos for quite some time now and often lurked on SPOTM. Dan 3.0 motivated me to join SPOTM to start speaking my mind and defending Dan in his project because I felt like he was taking too much heat.

My first impressions of the moon:

The moon? You mean the actual moon? I think the moon is quite nice. It provides us with the great sensation of oceanic tides. I would like to go there some day and take some moon rocks back with me. The moon as the SPOTM? I think it has great potential. I was a lurker for the first year it was around. The whole premise behind triads and the projects is really cool – I just feel like people need to become more involved. Like I said, the potential is there.

The sections of the forum I visit the most:

I find myself visiting the Dan 3.0 section a lot just because it has to do with Dan Brown’s major project. (Which is what brought me to the moon in the first place) I hope to get more involved with some triads and some other projects in the future.

4 word sentence: You WON the game.

If I met Sarah Palin, I would say:

Hey Sarah. Why did you name your children such weird names? Track, Willow, Bristol, Piper? Really? Piper isn’t terrible but it seems like you are just an attention whore by naming your kids such off beat names. Also, how do you feel about the porn industry using your image? Hows Alaska?

Add this question:

Open the closest book to you. Open to page 127 and go 2 paragraphs down. Write the 3rd sentence in that paragraph down here.

Iamnthomas (Youtube – videos coming soon)

Look out for next weeks Introducing section to meet some new members. 😉

Weekly Challenge 1: More Members!!
December 14, 2009, 12:35 am

For the people who don’t know, Coleslawman from the forums came up with the idea to have weekly challenges. So instead of talking about it, I decided to just go ahead and do it! If no-ones going to do something about these ideas, they will just stay ideas. This weeks challenge comes from DrJafJaf from the forums, aka Nate Jaffe.

We can do awesome things! But we want to get as many people involved in this as possible, so it’s only fitting that our first challenge is to invite people. How many people? Well I can only give a guideline on this, but we’d love for you all to invite at least 1 person. For those looking for more of a challenge, maybe you should go for 1 a day for a week, but that’s up to you. So the requirements for this challenge is to invite 1 person (or more) to the tribe. 3, 2, 1… GO!

So there it is. Post below if you succeed! And I also invite your ideas for next weeks challenge.

Introducing our Tribal blog!
December 11, 2009, 2:22 am

Welcome to the unofficial (yet still as awesome as an official blog would be) tribal blog. You may be wondering why this is here when there’s already a Forum and Dan’s videos about it. Well tribe, the forum is more of a place for brainstorming, and Dan’s videos are for his personal stuff, he may not put out a tribe related video in weeks, and when he does it may only loosely relate to the tribe. So we’ve decided to take it into our own hands and make an unofficial Blog to report on:

  • Latest tribal news
  • Forum news
  • Tribe member content (content from tribe members other than the regular blog posters)
  • Weekly Challenge
  • Main tribal challenges
  • And more! </clique>

If you wish to send in any content, or to become a regular poster on this blog, just get in contact with any of the staff of the blog, and please note again that this is an unofficial blog in the absence of an official one, but I would like it to become your hub for tribal information, so subscribe by clicking the link in the dooblidoo.

And by clicking the link in the dooblidoo, I mean the RSS feed subscribe button on the right of your browser bar (on firefox) or by using your favorite feed reader.

Regards,

Tribe.

PS. And if you’re wondering what all this is, I promise I will have an about section up as soon as possible, but in the meantime, I suggest you watch this video.
